As requested by many of the blog followers, the Association has decided to extend the iPod Touch "Haultain Families" photography contest for another two weeks. Based on the amazing entries received so far, the HMPA is looking forward to seeing a few more.
The final announcement of the winner will be on April 23rd - so get your finger on the shutter, and send your entries in.
I too feel that the contest should not have been extended. i also feel that when the matter was brought up at the meeting last night, it was handled inapropriately and very unperfessionally.

ReplyDeleteI think that last night's complaint, regarding extending the deadline for the photo contest, was not an attack or even a request to revoke the extension. The particular individual who complained seemed to simply express her opinion and that of other parents she had spoken to, regarding this issue. I feel that whatever matter is brought up by a parent or council member during PA meetings, should be considered with full respect and be taken seriously as an opportunity to engage in discussion.
